The Abarth 600e is one of the most anticipated new cars to look out for this year! It’s said to be the brand’s most powerful model yet and it looks pretty impressive too! The Abarth 600e is a four-door hatchback which will be purely electric and packed with technology. The Abarth promises to reach maximum performance with the most powerful Abarth ever and 280 horsepower. The launch model comes in a striking ‘Hypnotic Purple’ and we can’t wait to see it on the road.

2. BMW X2.
The BMW X2 has already been launched and seems to be hitting the market by storm. The BMW X2 is an SUV crossover car and its perfect for family life. This is the 2nd generation X2 and it’s been improved in the space and practicality department. It’s bigger than the X1 and it promises a lot more equipment and technology as standard. The X2 may look big and bulky but it’s still capable of agile handling and punchy suspension. It’s available in petrol and electric versions, both having two different options to choose from. The BMW X2 is available to build and price up now!

3. Aston Martin Valhalla.
Whilst it may be out of budget for many drivers, the Aston Martin Valhalla is worth mentioning. The all-new plug-in hybrid supercar is really impressive and features a V8 engine with a 150kW battery hybrid system. The 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine is the most advanced and highest-performing engine ever fitted to an Aston Martin and can soar 0-60mph in just 2.5 seconds. When on the road, the Valhalla takes its driving performance to the next level and the luxurious cockpit is based on the layout of the Formula 1 car.

4. Citroen e-C3.
The Citroen e-C3 is a likeable, affordable small SUV. The Citroen e-C3 is a fully electric model that offers around 199 miles of emission-free driving. The Citroen e-C3 is a great city car which can recharge 0-80% in as little as 26 minutes, so you can get back on the road quicker. The new Citroen e-C3 comes in 6 different colours, 2 trim levels and electric, hybrid and petrol engines so there’s sure to be a model for you! If you’re after a compact, nippy runabout the Citroen e-C3 can be a great choice.

5. Fiat Grande Panda.
The Fiat Grande Panda will arrive in the UK in early 2025 and it’s one of our favourite new cars coming this year! It’s a small SUV and will be available in both hybrid and electric versions. It’s one of the more affordable electric cars you can buy and prices will start from around £22k. If you’re already a fan of the Fiat Panda, you may be wondering what the Grande part is all about. Well, it’s 30cm longer than the previous model and is larger in wheelbase and width too. It also comes with a brand new exterior look and the interior comes with some great features and technology as standard.

6. Ford Ranger PHEV.
The new Ford Ranger PHEV is a long-awaited new model from Ford. It promises heavy-duty load carrying, uncompromised towing capabilities, and outstanding off-road capacity. It comes with an all-electric range of up to 26 miles which is pretty impressive for such a big car. The Ford Ranger PHEV is Europe’s first PHEV pickup up so it’s a very exciting arrival. There are 3 different models to choose from, all of which are strong and highly capable.

7. Porsche Boxster EV.
The Porsche 718 Boxster EV is a highly anticipated new car for 2025. From 2025, Porsche will drop the petrol engines and focus on electric capabilities. The Porsche 718 Boxster is expected to have an EV range of around 300 miles on a single charge. That’s actually really impressive for a fast-paced sports car, so we’re excited to see it in action. Not many details have been released about when the new Boxster EV will go on sale but we’re hoping it’ll be sooner rather than later. Early photos show the new 718 Boxster already looking really sleek and sophisticated.

8. Cupra Raval.
The Cupra Raval is one of the best new cars to look out for this year. It’s an all-electric urban car which is expected to be released in early 2025. Its electric capability looks promising, with an expected single-charge range of 273 miles. The Cupra Raval is a force to be reckoned with and this supermini is sure to impress. The Raval is sporty and nippy and promises 0-62mph in just 6.9 seconds. If you’re after an affordable new car that excels in style and finesse, the Cupra Raval could be the car for you.

9. Volkswagen ID.2all.
The Volkswagen ID.2 is a small EV that not only looks great but also performs well on the road. This brand new model will be released in 2025 but we’re not exactly sure when yet. The Volkswagen ID.2all is expected to offer around 280 miles of emission-free driving and will come with all the latest bells and whistles. Whilst its interior space is limited, Volkswagen promises they’ve maximised space efficiency. The VW ID.2all is a great choice for any driver in the small EV market.

10. Hyundai Ioniq 9.
And last but not least on the list of new cars to look out for this year is the Hyundai Ioniq 9. We’ve already featured the current Ioniq on our list of the best cars for commuting and the best MPG cars so you can imagine we’re excited about the new arrival. The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is a large electric SUV which promises a whopping 400-mile electric range! There’ll be 3 powertrains to choose from and we’re sure there’s a version to suit many different drivers.
