1. Abarth 600e
The Abarth 600e is one of the most anticipated new cars to look out for this year! It’s said to be the brand’s most powerful model yet and it looks pretty impressive too! The Abarth 600e is a four-door hatchback which will be purely electric and packed with technology. The Abarth promises to reach maximum performance with the most powerful Abarth ever and 240 horsepower. The launch model comes in a striking ‘Hypnotic Purple’ and we can’t wait to see the final product unveiled.

2. Alfa Romeo Milano
The Alfa Romeo Milano will be revealed in the spring and aims to compete in the highly popular small SUV category. Not only will it be another SUV to its lineup but it’s also the first mainstream EV from the brand. We’ve already had a sneak peek at the design as some pictures were leaked in September 2023. We don’t know much about the spec yet but we do know it will use the same 54kWh battery as the Jeep Avenger so could provide around 250 miles of all-electric driving.

3. Audi A6 Avant e-Tron.
Electric car drivers have been waiting for the Audi A6 to get an emission-free update, and it’s not far away! There have been rumours of the new model since 2023 but it will now be released mid 2024. There aren’t many electric estate cars on the market as of yet so competition is limited but the A6 Avant is sure to impress. Fresh spy photos show the new model to have a stylish body with slim door handles and a new tech-frame grille.

4. BMW X2
The BMW X2 has already been launched and first deliveries are expected in March 2024. Due to the early launch, there’s a lot we already know about the X2 and plenty of promo pics to go with it. The BMW X2 has a sporty and luxurious feel throughout and comes with some of the best technology around. There are two petrol engines to choose from and a new iX2 all-electric model too.

5. Lexus LBX
The new Lexus LBX will be the smallest Lexus yet and is derived from the Toyota Yaris Cross. The Lexus LBX is a compact SUV and is the most affordable Lexus to date. However, Lexus has not skipped out on quality either though and the interior is premium and up to date. If fully electric isn’t your thing, you’ll be pleased to know the LBX model is a self-charging hybrid-powered SUV. This is one hybrid car we’ll be keeping an eye out for this year for sure!

6. Peugeot e-3008
The Peugeot 3008 is already a popular family SUV so the all-new electric version is set to be a hit! This is the first time this model is fully electric and it will go on sale in 2024. The new model will bring an impressive 435-mile range and 3 different battery sizes to choose from. It looks futuristic inside and out and will undoubtedly turn plenty of heads. The sleek and stylish body comes in a range of bold metallic colours like the Obsession Blue featured above.

7. SMART #3
Could 3 be the magic number for Smart? This electric SUV could be the new car to look out for this year! The Smart #3 banishes its teeny two-seater reputation and brings a large, stylish SUV. We especially like the interior styling which keeps the tall centre console from the Smart #1 and improves it further. The console separates the driver from the passenger for a much more sporty feel. The #3 comes with an 82kWh battery and can provide up to 311 miles on a single electric charge.

8. Citreon eC3
A new model for the backend of the year is the Citroen e-C3. If price is one of your pitfalls when wondering if you should buy an electric car, it’s handy to know the new e-C3 aims to be the UK’s cheapest electric car in 2024 and prices will start from around £24k. The e-C3 is a hatchback but gives a crossover SUV kind of impression with its large interior and rugged body. The e-C3 is great value for money and its nimble 44kWh battery can offer around 199 of emissions-free driving.

9. Ford Explorer.
The new Ford Explorer was originally planned for autumn 2023 but due to long delays, it will be postponed until summer 2024. We hope the new model is worth the wait though as it promises big things. The new electric SUV comes with a boxy appearance and looks as though it’s been designed with the Range Rover Discover in mind. Just like the VW ID4, the new Ford Explorer comes in a 52kWh or 77kWh which could offer either 220 miles or 335 miles.

10. Aston Martin Valhalla
Whilst it may be out of budget for many drivers, the Aston Martin Valhalla Is definitely worth mentioning. The all-new plug-in hybrid supercar is really impressive and features a V8 engine with a 150kW battery hybrid system. The 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine is the most advanced and highest-performing engine ever fitted to an Aston Martin and can soar 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds. When on the road, the Valhalla takes its driving performance to the next level and the luxurious cockpit is based on the layout of the Formula 1 car.
